BANKSTOWN CITY GARDENS

Public BBQ

Tucked away behind Memorial Oval, this revamped park offers decent barbecue facilities and shade structures. The playground - Livvi's Place - impresses with inclusive design and flying fox. Barbecue areas are well-positioned near seating and toilets, though arriving early secures parking and avoids crowds. The giant Queensland Bottle Tree makes an unexpected centrepiece. While maintenance could be better, the gated playground adds security for families. Morning visits optimal for peaceful barbecue experience.
